OS Uni Snob Thread

I'm still here, dammit. We could probably do regions as a function of sport. I.E. 16 best football unis, 16 best hockey/other unis, 16 best basketball unis, 16 best baseball. Then the Final Four has one of each.

That was my plan, except re-worded

I don't really know how to do this.

We could do like Watson suggested where Me, Watson, Giggas, and TB act as sort of the "Selection Committee".

OR

We could have everyone nominate jerseys like I said earlier.

Downsides to each:
The Selection Committee might snub some unis people really like.

The nominations might make it fairly obvious who's going to win each region.

Thoughts?

Disagree on your disagree. Do you know how cluttered and frustrating that would be?

Shouldn't be. Once we get all the 16 uniforms, we could all assign them points 16-1, and then use them added up. More points a uni has, the higher seed it gets.

On second thought, everyone that will be involved could just make an alternate Twitter account and then delete it when we're done with this.

If we're voting on procedure, I figure I should post my argument.

First, my procedure.

We start at a region. We start with one representative, who nominates a uniform. A majority of the other members must agree to allow that into the tournament. Then we cycle through representatives until all 16 uniforms in that section are completed.

At that point, each representative ranks each uniform from 1-16, with a uniform getting 16 points for a 1 rank, etc. All of the committee members reveal their rankings, and the points for each uniform are added up. Once this is completed, the uniform with the most points is ranked 1, the next 2, etc.

This allows for the seeds to be relatively balanced, whereas Watson's scheme has a chance that teams are completely under/over seeded. This scheme allows each member to have input with every uniform in the tournament.
