That's the same exact design, down to the stripe, as Louisville's 9/11 helmet they've used for a few years now (obviously with UNC logo instead of Cardinal).

Not quite, logos have different properties. The UNC logo is more horizontal while the UL one is angled. Also, the UNC has an apparent wider view of the flag as you can see all 13 stripes and more of the canton as opposed to only 6 stripes visible on the UL flag. Granted that, aside from the angle, some of the differences may be due to some extent to differences in logo size.

Okay, the two helmets posted bring me back to a question I asked someone not on here the other day: What color blue is actually on our flag? Or does it matter as long as it's not too bright.

Because that Louisville one uses a navy blue like all our national sports teams do these days, but the UNC helmet and a lot of other flags I see around use a brighter blue.

I'd guess the navy is the actual color simply based on the fact that the flags they give to the family of deceased soldiers use that color.

Just a random thought.

According to wikipedia, it is a specific color of blue called "Old Glory Blue"

I mean they were aight, but nothing special. Of course, I'm not really a fan of monochrome unis to begin with.

Apparently this was Texas Tech's "Lone Star Pride" game as well, so that might be why they wore gray (although that's as far as my explanation goes, because it doesn't make sense at all lol).

Last year's LSP uniforms actually honored Texas.

I kind of like the Nebraska unis.

The only thing I'm not crazy about is the red letters on the back.

They need a white outline to make them easier to read.

Eh, I'm a traditionalist.. I hate all of these new uniforms anymore..

Out of all the uniform changes this year that I've seen.. the one that bothers me the most is Georgia's number font.. Idk why, it just rubs me the wrong way..

With that said, the PSU chipmunk addition to the collar is not bothering me as much as I thought I would. I'm also a fan of the names on the jerseys now, even though every TV crew will still get Bill Belton and Malcom Willis mixed up on the sidelines.. #smh
