I could go either way with it. It's quite a historical thing and Alabama pulls it off quite well so I guess it's good.

I can't really think of a uniform where I don't like the numbers on the helmet.

Hell, sometimes it adds to it. The numbered helmet is the only not ****ty thing about the alternate that Michigan's wearing against ND this year. Well, that and the gray facemask.

Yeah I guess after Alabama went 10-3 last year, not winning the national title, you dropped them from your list of teams. I assume this year you're a fan of Under Armour uniforms.


But anyways, numbers on the helmets is something I think looks good for Alabama because it's traditional and synonymous with us. Same goes for Tennessee and the power T on the helmet.

honestly, I think numbers on the helmet is something only Bama can pull off with success. San Diego skirts on the line however

I'm like this. I really like numbers on helmets. Adds a "clean, historical" look to any uni. What I don't like is having numbers and a logo. Sorry Michigan. But FWIW I like the look.

I think it really depends on the number font and color of the shell and number decals. Alabamas look ok to me, but I don't like Georgia Southerns helmets which has numbers on them.

While they do look more like the Leafs now, I like Tampa's new jerseys.

I don't like them for that reason. I miss the black already.

What do you guys use to create jersey designs? Is there a web program or something I can find? BTW Photoshop probably isn't the best suggestion because my computer isn't that great.

I'm mostly just curious because I wouldn't mind trying to come up with some Winnipeg Jets designs.

Speaking of which, here's an article I seen about that.

The guy came up with a pretty nice looking logo on the left side, but the design on the right doesn't look good to me.

Just going back to the Bills unis for a second, upon seeing the full road uniform, I don't really care for it. Can't put my finger on what it is, but I really don't like the all white look for them.

I like the all white but I think they should have blue pants as well. Hopefully they'll break in blue pants in '12 or '13.

Just going back to the Bills unis for a second, upon seeing the full road uniform, I don't really care for it. Can't put my finger on what it is, but I really don't like the all white look for them.

FWIW, I think it's really cool that the Bills used military members to show off those jerseys. For those that don't know they couldn't use real players because of the lockout so they used the military.
