They also have an orange helmet though I don't think they've worn it with the orange pants yet. If they do decide to do that then I think immediately....

My opinion depends on what helmet they wear with them.

Orange helmet? Cool.

White helmet? Cool.

Maroon helmet? Not so cool

Again, the orange helmet can go to hell. I agree with you on the other points. It would look odd, I think, with a maroon helmet. Of course, we'll probably just go all orange for some godforsaken reason this year.

Backstory: Denham Springs, crosstown Arch rival of Live Oak, started throwing up the U last year because their coach wanted them to play with more swagger. I mean, everywhere. After a 3 yard tackle, they'd throw it up. After a free throw they'd throw it up. Live Oak beat them in football and basketball (they were #5 in the state in 5A basketball) and took the season series in baseball. Our old logo was a modified Philly Eagles logo, but I guess the place that made the decals did not do them anymore....

I would need to see the helmet with this uni to make a clear decision. I do like them without seeing the full uni though.

I like it. The logo seems like a hybrid Oregon/Miami logo. Not bad.

BG's new set is a slight improvement though I don't care for the non traditional pants stripes also um #5 er.....The less said the better

WKU HUGE improvement IMO.

Nevada, again not too impressed with the stupid parts of the design element but it's a lot less offensive than what they wore last year.

Western Michigan, slight downgrade just for the abortive shoulder loops.

Miss. State, I can't tell much will need to see the new unis in action though I didn't think last year's set needed any changing really.

FIU 2nd most traditional change though I hope they have white pants in their set.

Also, only varsity games are black pants. JV is still shorts/white stripes.

They actually are going to have 3 helmets, that is the first one which will be used during the first 4 games.

Watching the North Texas vs FIU game (new unis for both teams) and both unis look pretty damn good I'd say. I would like to see white pants with maybe a triple stripe down the side (outside blue, inside gold) for FIU.

All I can think of looking at North Texas is the old NY Jets unis with the green helmet (disregarding the pants stripe).

Yikes, UNLV's jerseys are REALLY ugly.
