        Could it be a throwback? I think blue was one of their colors very early in their history (when they were still in Philadelphia or maybe into Kansas City). Though it seems odd to wear a throwback during spring training.

                Looking at pictures from the game on espn.com, it could just be an artifact of the way the lighting was hitting them. Particularly from the scoreboard. Some pics they look black, but other they do appear dark blue.

                                        Yeah, it's a Flames alt. They died after the lockout though.

                                        Also, that original 'Yotes jersey is terrrrrible IMO. What they have now is actually decent.

                                                One of the cool things about my hobby of collecting old sports broadcasts is that I learn something new every once in a while. A great example happened tonight:

                                                FSU's pants used to be more of a mustard/yellow color than what they wear now

                                                        These were awful...


                                                        So were these... Don't know how they could playing in denim..


                                                        The way the check pattern shined like the old T-Mac Magic jerseys made these look great up close..


                                                        I hate these and pretty much all of the jerseys that Nike has done this style for.. Duke, Texas, Gonzaga, Syracuse, UConn, etc..

                                                            If there was an NCAA Tournament for uniforms, UCLA would be in my Final Four. Probably in my championship.

                                                            I love what they're wearing. Despite all the patches (4 of them). But every team has about a million patches now, so that's why I dismiss those.
