I don't really like the Rays unis, although they are 10 steps above what they had before lol.

I do think the Diamondbacks jerseys are good though. What team do they look similar to?

Anyways, IMO this is much better than the ugly, old looking purple and teal (or whatever it was) with pinstripes:



I don't know if I really like "D-Backs" across the chest, but I like this color scheme way better than the old one.

Their color scheme is nearly identical to the Astros.

Got a couple Pro Combat style uni designs for a couple of NFL teams. These are some of my first attempts at this, so go easy UniWatch readers!
First we have a New England Patriots design. It’s my opinion that their red throwback is the best uniform going in the NFL right now. Even with Pat the Patriot. So, for the Pats design I decided to return to that old color scheme and design, while incorporating their modern logo. The reds and blues in the logo are a bit brighter, while the uniform is essentially a Nikeized version of their throwback, with blue numbers instead of white.
Second I have a Jacksonville Jaguars design. The helmet still changes colors. I’m not particularly a fan of that, but Nike will be. But I feel that the black and teal play off each other well in this design.

Anyways, a little birdie, (ok a big birdie really) tells me (and the rest of Toronto) that the Blue Jays are definitely scrapping their current uniform set and will either go with a true throwback of their older uniform (not sure if it'll be the '70s/early '80s look or the WS years look) or a fauxback that mashes up elements of the old uniform with modern day tweaks.

I was under the impression that the Packers uniform's been exactly the same for pretty much my whole life.

Now I'm watching America's Game for the '96 Packers and I see we used to have 5 sleeve stripes instead of the 3 we have now.

I learned something new today.

This is a problem with a lot of teams actually. Sleeves have been shrinking to the point that they have to cut down the number of stripes or truncate things radically as you can see with the Rodgers picture compared to Favre the stripes don't even go around the sleeves anymore!

It's the tight cut of the jerseys now-a-days. We're never going to see those sleeves flapping in the breeze again, sadly. Luckily, we now have compression sleeves, and like Uni Watch, I can see them becoming part of the uniform with stripes... and I like that movement. It allows the tight cut of the jerseys that the players want, and the nice stripe-age that's just great.
