Wow.. It's hard to be too simple but they pulled it off. I think a single red stripe on the pants would work well and maybe a way to put NC State on the jerseys so they don't look like some generic, low-budget, straight out of a movie team.

I heard on the radio today that NC State is supposed to have an alternate which I'm going to guess is a black jersey. I hope they don't go with the all red uni's again.

I absolutely hate the adidas logo on the collar.

Past that, I think it's an alright jersey, but just a bit plain.

In north carolina NC State is commonly referred to as "State" so I'm assuming that's what they are doing there.

I wouldn't bet against the all red look. The all red is really common with them and I would be shocked if they didn't. I would also be surprised if they did have a black jersey.. I can picture what they would look like and in theory, they would look better then most BFBS jerseys, but they still would be BFBS so I don't condone it..

Oh, I didn't know that. I'm all for keeping local tradition on uniforms and in stadiums.

Those will actually look pretty decent with the helmet on, I bet.

The giant Adidas logo needs to die, but other than that I endorse simplicity in a day when so many teams are ****ing up perfectly good uniforms (South Carolina...).

Just a question and i'll put it out to the floor for everyone to answer as well. I see a lot of hate for the Adidas logo. Do you guys hate ALL manufacturer wordmarks/logos as well? If so then I agree, I really hate the Nike swoosh and the reebok vector you see on uniforms for some sports.

Anyways as to those unis, a bit hard to tell without the helmet on but I think they did a good job of being simple without being TOO plain.

I have various degrees of hatred for logos.

Nike's is smaller. And less ugly. It's the least of the evils.

Reebok is in the middle.

And Adidas's logo is horrifying. I hate that they feel the need to put ADIDAS in letters under the logo.

That said, I'd hate Adidas a lot less if they'd use this logo on everything.



They used that logo on the Notre Dame throwbacks, and I don't mind it.

Heh, I figured it was NCSU right away though I still had look around and find the logo on the pants to confirm it. I like the unis though.
