I'm not a fan of this. While I have no problem going white on white, not at home. It should be teal jerseys at home. That was the plan when switching to the new unis and the reasoning behind no black jerseys.

I like the white on black look, in theory. But the current black pants are terrible. The last set was a lot better.

Going white on white at home early in the year makes a lot of sense. Dark colors attract more heat and cause problems. I'd say they'll start wearing the teal jerseys at home post wk 5.

I get the logic. But the Jags home jersey (teal) isn't very dark, and neither is the titans home jersey (light blue). I think any advantage there is negligible.

Excluding the helmet, the red and white design on the left shoulder wouldn't be all that bad on both (imo). Not as a full time uni, but as a special occasion thing, it could work. The black and yellow however, yeah that just kills everything. The worst part about what they wore tonight was that damn sleeve.

It's not that the whole uniform was ugly just...WTF?! It just looks totally hilarious. Should have been laughed off the design table, not to mention when they actually made them.

I think they should have taken the black flag side and made it a home uniform, and took the red/white flag side and made an away jersey. Just keep the patterns to the shoulder only.

Re: Maryland Uniforms... I think I'm so angry because it seemed like a good idea they completely whiffed on. The shoulder yokes? I'm not a huge fan, but they weren't the worst yokes. But that damn helmet. That is the thing that seemed slapped together. I hate the idea of nonsymmetric uniform design. The stupid compression sleeves didn't make it any better, and there were no unique design choices other than those. Why not throw a repeating flag stripe down the sides of the pants? Here's my opinion. Keep the shoulder yoke. Put a repeating flag stripe down the sides of the pants. Go with a white helmet with a Maryland flag flapping in the breeze, red facemask. Guarantee you it's a much better looking set, and people wouldn't freak out like they have been doing.
