I'll wait to pass judgement on the new helmet until I see a full color version that isn't somewhat distorted.
As for why they dropped the block M, I read somewhere that they wanted to get away from it so better distinguish them from Michigan and their block M logo.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

Yellow jersey seems pretty busy, black helmet with the big tiger head on it is a pretty nice alternate helmet. Liked their old helmets with the M better than the tiger in a circle logo.Favorite Teams:

I like he Mizzou unis overall though they could've been better. The alternate helmet is nice for a one off. I agree the block M is better than the logo helmet but I understand the rationale in changing it.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
