Yeah that was a big miss IMO and you're right they look like GT.

Why didn't they go with the older look? That's literally a no brainer!

I don't know. I think they were trying to combine aspects of every jersey from their past, which clearly was overdoing it. I'm not a fan of the multi-colored sleeves and the curved pant stripes.

Who knows, maybe they'll grow on me. I know last year when I first seen the Jets logo I thought it was bad but now I can't really imagine a better logo.

I'm liking these new CFL Unis. The CFL gets so little love, even though some CFL games outdraw NFL games.

It's either go to a CFL game or sit in your log cabin waiting for winter to come, though.

Not like it's that hard to draw fans under those circumstances.

That's not 100% grey, it's reflective silver to look like armor.

the helmets are reflective, but not like Oregon's rose bowl helmet.

Those things on the shoulders (and helmet) are actual grooves to replicate scratches in armor from battle. As in, they are carved INTO the helmet.

That sound you hear is Oregon getting jealous. Holy ****. I'm hook line and sinker for them.

Same here. I was going to do a dynasty with them anyway because a kid from my high school is going to be a QB there, but the uniforms have me sold.

What game? The Grey Cup? Sure. It had 54,000 fans (which is actually less than the attendance average for 31 of 32 teams). No other single game was higher than the attendance average of the worst attendance average in the league (and that was by a mile).

What game? The Grey Cup? Sure. It had 54,000 fans (which is actually less than the attendance average for 31 of 32 teams). No other single game was higher than the attendance average of the worst attendance average in the league (and that was by a mile).

I don't know where he's getting that idea either. I'm a CFL supporter but there's no stadiums with anywhere close to 80K capacity (except Commonwealth) Maybe he means the ratings for CFL games outdoes the NFL from time to time which IS true. The Grey Cup is usually on a par or slightly more people watching on TV than the Super Bowl in Canada.

Since we're still on the topic of the CFL, I noticed not all of the new jerseys have been posted.

And here's a fun fact about the above Riders jerseys that's just such a Saskatchewan thing to do; THEY HAVE ****ING TRAMP STAMPS!

So as a whole I think the league looks better with these re-designs. Hamilton, Toronto and BC are the clear winners IMO while the Riders and Bombers fall flat on their faces. You can also throw those Eskimos away jerseys in the loser category as well.

I love that most of the new jerseys ditched any piping. It was used so heavily in the last league-wide re-design in 2005 and just wasn't a good look.

From Wikipedia, Oakland averaged 46k per game, and the Bucs averaged 49k.

Some CFL Teams drew 50k to a game, like BC or Edmonton (They did not average 50k). For the most part, the NFL outdraws the CFL by far, but not always.

Yeah, I think overall the new designs make the teams look better but some of the redesigns are um....not that good. I think the Eskimos away uniform would look better without the green but i'm curious to see a side view of the green helmet. That looks like it could be pretty neat.

I'm just glad BC didn't change their uniforms as they are among the best uniforms in all of football IMO.
