The KU on the side of the helmet is WAYYYYY better than the Jayhawk IMO. Not only that, the Jayhawks aren't consistent. The red helmet has an angry Jayhawk. I just don't understand. Okay... I am not that upset with the Kansas stuff. Besides the ornery red helmet and the black one.
If they had done the black one with a red or blue outlined white KU it would have been much better.

So after some research, the logo on the red helmet is apparently a throwback design called the "War Jayhawk". Designed for WWII or something. All I noticed is that it had the same font as Chaos' avatar.
Either way, I am with NDAlum on preferring the KU over the bird on the helmet. Black unis just don't work at all with KU either. Even when they wore it last year. Everything else is nice.
FAU has shamed themselves. Adidas needs to stop fitting every small conference bird team with that awful template.Originally posted by BlueNGoldComment

Major downgrade IMO. FAU had one of the nicest uniforms in all of college football. I mean, on its own it's not BAD but compared to what they had before....Yeah, i'm not feeling it.

So old-school, "look we're still in high school" generic to new-school, "yeah, our mascot is a bird" generic.
