Pats should go back to these.

How about no.

Teams in need of a re-brand, or just new uniforms, ranked by who needs them the most:

Patriots (Just...do something)
Bengals (I'm ok with the helmets, but yeah, your uniforms are horribad)
Atlanta (Bring back the red helmets while you're at it)
Titans
Denver (I like the shift to orange, but your uniforms stopped being hip and futuristic around 2004)
Cardinals
Panthers (Black uniforms are not your identity)
Saints (MINOR changes to the uniform, like taking off the white border around gold numbers, bringing back the Louisiana patch with the Fleur De Lis over NOLA, burning the black pants and getting white pants with a fat black stripe to match the gold)

If the Titans don't do a complete overhaul, they need to go back to this at home. They looked so much better today.

Agreed. Although I think the light blue with those pants would be fantastic.

Maybe I am missing something but they really don't do anything for me.

Clean traditional look using school colors and a lack of gimmicks wins me over most of the time.

Even when Duke wear's their black uniforms it looks great to me.

Though I doubt it will ever happen. Let's just say they do decide to go with that, though, I don't see it being done until Brady is gone as a kind of... changing of the guard type thing.

Who knows, the Jets made that move back to their classics after the hideous uniforms they had in the 80's and 90's. As much as I hate the Pats those throwbacks are some of the best in football and need to be their main ones. The current uniforms are so, so ugly. One of the worst in pro sports.


The Knicks will be debuting these tonight vs Toronto. I like them a lot.

I agree they need new unis, but I actually prefer the black helmet. I thought that set looked better when Black was the regular jersey, and the red was the alternate.

If they just redid that stripe, I think they'd be fine. I prefer the navy over the royal blue they used to wear, and I like the current logo a lot better.

How are black uniforms not their identity? They're the Panthers. An all black cat. I actually think they have the best uniforms in the game. I love them.

I think the Pats need new uniforms, but not those. For one, they should be wearing blue, not red. The "Patriots" of revolutionary times wore blue - British soldiers and loyalists wore red. Secondly, I really, really hate the snapping patriot logo. I think it looks ridiculous. Granted, so does their current logo, but still.

Those are beautiful. I love it when teams make an alt that is the same basic template as the regular, just in a different color. I like it so much better than throwbacks.

Yeah, those New York jerseys are prime quality. More teams should follow suit with that same template.

How are black uniforms not the panthers identity? They have been worn since the franchise came into existence and the panther is a black cat.

Off the top of my head, I know I at least like those ones more than Carolina's.

Too 1990s to fly today. If the Pats didn't have such a horrid record with the Pat Patriot uniform the couple years before Parcells came along I think they'd still be wearing at least a variation of that uniform today.

As for the Panthers I agree the black doesn't really work for them anymore but it fits the team identity. Personally I think the electric blue works best.

As for the Broncos, just go back to the Orange Crush uniforms damnit!
