Two tone generally sucks in basketball for everyone.

Everyone on the court looks like they just showed up to the local rec for a game.

Personally, I feel like that would be a step down in quality. Obviously that's just my opinion. But if I were outfitting my team and I had to choose between Tampa's current helmet and that concept, I'd choose their current helmet.

I'm pretty sure the helmet they are changing to will be white, because they want to use the Bucco Bruce creamsicles as a throwback and the new rules state that they can only do decal changes for throwback days.

I feel like the striping on the helmet seems a bit off, but I can't put my finger on why I dislike the striping.

Not terrible, nothing great. Would rather see a re-brand of the franchise back to the old color scheme in full - and this is coming from someone who LOVED the Buccaneers growing up once they switched (mainly because Warrick Dunn and John Lynch are two of my favorite players of all-time. I still have their jerseys in my closet back home.)

That thing is so damn ugly. Almost all of the concept pictures I saw looked way better than that.

I can't imagine pewter pants would be used as much with a white helmet. It would look awful.

This is a good point. I'd like the design a lot more if they went white pants and just completely did away with the pewter.

I agree that the stripes look weird from that angle, but I'd like to see it head on as well.

Right now I don't have much of a feeling on it. Though I do believe I see some orange in the stripe, or are my eyes deceiving me?

Agreed, I think I see an orange sliver inside the red stripes as well. It could lead to a more extensive change with the uniform sooner than later. I'd like to see the helmet head on as well.

As it is, it's ok though the logo is a bit too simple IMO. It'd look great with white pants though.

Meh, not really feeling that design. It's not terrible, but I really liked the pewter helmets. Plus, as I've said before, I hate gray facemasks on anything other than gold or silver helmets. Also need to see a better view of the stripes because, as ubernoob said, they look atypical. Perhaps wide-spaced or slightly flared.
