Someone screwed something up and the Eagles will be forced to wear black jerseys instead of green because the green ones "aren't ready"

 Re: OS Uni Snob Thread

Is the NFL doing that or is it just the Saints?

 I haven't really noticed it this preseason. Admittedly I haven't been looking for it.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Eagles have been doing it in the early parts of the season the last few years, and I've noticed some other teams doing it as well. I kinda like the conceptEagles | Phillies | Sixers | Flyers

 Re: OS Uni Snob Thread

Traditionally the southern teams and Arizona wear white at home for the first few weeks of the season. Some teams like the Broncos have worn white at home regularly enough times where it was traditional for them.

As a cowboys fan, i was kind of hoping that wouldnt catch on. I liked being the only team that did it, like LSU in college ball (i know there are a couple others as well). But at least im sure we'll always be the team who rocks 2 different shades of blue & silver.Gators|Cowboys|Lightning|Rays|Tottenham Hotspur

 Re: OS Uni Snob Thread

Plenty of NFL teams having been wearing white at home in the preseason/early regular season for awhile now.

The 49ers used to always wear white in the preseason then switch to red once the real season began. Nolan ended that tradition. I've wanted Harbaugh to bring it back.

The Saints typically wear white at home through October, I think. The Bills, Browns, Bengals, Ravens, Titans, Jaguars, Texans, Chargers, Eagles, Bears, Packers (a long time ago), Bucs, Panthers, Cardinals and Rams (last year against the 49ers) are others who I remember wearing white at home for at least a game or two in September.

I don't remember ever seeing the Broncos wear white at home. The Redskins still look weird to me wearing maroon at home.

Edit: The Broncos have worn white at home a few times, most recently in 2003.Last edited by LowerWolf; 08-15-2014, 10:25 PM.Comment
