I like the gold numbers more, but the red is easier to see from far away, which I think was a main complaint about them.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Those helmets looked so weird for that OSU game. Either a weird shade or the lights were blazing in that stadium. They have looked much better since then.Comment

Re: OS Uni Snob Thread

Well they colored them the same color as vanilla pudding for whatever reason. There was almost zero shine to them as well. I still think their current helmets could be a tad bit lighter, but they are still an improvement.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Texas A&M: Completely agree with Watson, the uniform itself is quite good but in the effort to look authentic the helmet comes off as being a bit too much.

FSU: Personally I like the garnet numbers more so this is a good subtle change.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: OS Uni Snob Thread

It's was Nike having the gold wrong so when equip guys got the paint it was wrong along with facemasks having a more purple than garnet shade. That was first correction, the garnet numbers on white jersey's were announced as going to be corrected but maybe not until bowl game/playoffs. ACC expedited that process by saying the gold numbers were illegal.

I'm in total disagreement on the Texas A&M helmets. I think they're incredible, but of course, we'll have to see them out on the field.Rose City 'Til I Die

Pens warmup jerseys for tonights game against the Kings.

This really hits close to home for the Pens since Mario Lemieux beat Hodgkins disease back in the 90s and it was revealed earlier this week that defenseman Olli Maatta will undergo surgery for what is likely a low grade thyroid cancer.

#HockeyFightsCancer warmups are ready!
