And those uniforms in conjunction with the Bills red are receiving some backlash since it made it all but impossible for people with red/green colorblindness to distinguish the teams apart short of looking at the helmet logo.

Those that are Blue/Yellow colorblind will have to deal with that next week

That type is rarer than red/green. Plus, both teams aren't wearing the same color helmets, and it won't be enhanced by the color of the field.

I don't think the nba has gotten backlash, and there are quite a few teams that have regularly worn yellow at home.

The NBA is also much less watched game to game than the NFL, and the NFL made a huge deal about this color rush stuff. So a combination of all of that makes this a bigger deal than any other time teams have faced off with non-colorblind kosher uniforms against each other.

Well, when the Warriors, Thunder, Mavs, Wolves, Grizzlies, Pacers, Pistons, Magic, Knicks, or Sixers visit the Lakers, (15 of the Lakers 41 home games), there is that issue.

In any case, the national eye institute says it shouldn't be an issue next week. There's a picture going around showing what it looks like to people with yellow-blue, and the Jags look more reddish-pink, and the Titans are still powder blue.
