I tend to root for whatever underdogs are left in the playoffs.

No one at all...I barely pay attention. I don't have any "second teams" so when my teams are out, that sports season is over in my eyes.

The Pens were eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs last night so I won't watch another game and have no interest in who remains.

When the Steelers are eliminated I no longer watch the playoffs until the Super Bowl (my wife and I host a Super Bowl party so I kind of have to watch...although I'm usually paying more attention to the good food/drinks!).

The Pirates are eliminated at the start of the season. I'll still watch them for a bit. Don't usually watch the playoffs or World Series.

Yeah I am the same way. I don't root for any one. I will watch some of the playoffs, but if I have something else to do I will go do it.

I'll use this year's NBA playoffs as an example, but it applies to all sports I follow:

1) Underdogs (Grizzlies, Hornets)

2) Old Guys (Garnett, Allen)

3) Class Acts (Durant)

4) Legendary Coaches (Collins, Karl)

5) Characters (J.R.Smith)

It's kinda all over the place, but "I know 'em when I see 'em"

In football, well I can't say who I would, considering I can't even remember the last playoff game the browns played, so yeah.

In basketball, there's not even a team I remotely like other than the Cavs and Ohio State, so it would go by default to which team I hated the least or the underdog.

I'm pretty sure the Yankees would qualify as a team that's been slurped the most. Hell, ESPN is basically the Yankees second home.
