I agree. I understand the U.S. is trying to be as transparent as possible, but I think it is too much too fast.


On another note, it is very interesting being in Guantanamo Bay right now. I'll just say I'm glad the Bin Laden pictures were not released. Although I'm sure they will be stagecially leaked at a later date.

The pics of the bin Laden associates aren't a big deal. In fact, I'd say it benefits the U.S. in what those pics don't show (e.g. women and children). It's a good thing those pictures got out as soon as they did to dispell any potential rumors started by AQ or other organizations that we murdered innocent women and children and possibly staging bodies there.

The only picture of concern is of that tail rotor.

I think one thing that is scary for other countries and U.S. enemies is we've been fighting multiple wars over the past decade, and we still have all of these weapons, technologies and tools that haven't even seen the light of day, waiting for the right situation or opportunity to be unleashed.

Definitely....but EMP's have been around a long time. Actually since the dawn of the nuclear bomb.....because that's exactly what an EMP is...a nuclear weapon "tuned" to emit that pulse(all nuclear weapons emit it upon detonation, but they've figured out a way to strengthen the pulse...and I believe they can also have non-nuclear devices emit them as well, but not as effectively) ......and it's most effective if detonated from space.(a few hundred miles)...It's said that a handful of nuclear bombs detonated above the atmosphere can wipe out the entire U.S.
Fascinating and scary at the same time.
A good read on it is One Second After....but be prepared to go out and buy emergency food and items and build a Faraday Box if you read it!

This is how I feel. I'm glad the deed was done, but we should be focusing on finding whoever or whatever else is out there, and making sure this country remains safe.

I doubt they will be leaked if at all. They have been deemed classified now. So I don't see it happening.
