Mildly successful? It's arguable the he has had more of an impact on the daily life of Americans than any person in history. Which is only a great reminder for how important it was for the U.S. to take action.

There are a lot of resources on this... it's a very sad story, to me. Bin Laden had the resources to contribute so much to his people and the world- instead he decided to blow it up.

This report was recanted... his wife was shot in the leg and not killed, and not used as a human shield.

You almost sound like you're defending the guy. Almost.

Maybe stop following the twits (pun intended) of Rashard Mendenhall.

I dont think he is defending the man. His first post did no such thing. The second was more of a clearing up mis-information.

Then maybe his first statement is simply idealistic thinking, which is why I said "almost". I'm not sure what he meant by the second statement, but how about we let HIM clarify his point instead of making assumptions.

In a more general sense, I'm interested more than ever that this country get its' identity back and we face front as Americans. Differences, yes. But unity first. I was hoping that something like this might catalyze that, but the digital disconnects and the political correctness has really put a bite into that. I hope we can still capture the essence of it.

Good to know. Proud to be an American with you. Apparently the various communiques coming out now from PA Ave. are getting some eyebrow raises in terms of possible contradictions. Again, I'd rather we all play single minded here and keep the political mechanisms a distant second for now.
