Here's another real life scenario.

Even though I've been away at college, I received news through Facebook (from my HS US History teacher no less) that my no good, sticky floored, stinky, local movie theater in Rolla, Missouri chose to not show the movie "Lincoln" in their theater. Instead they chose to show other inferior movies instead, such as the latest Twilight Movie. In fact, there were few theaters around the area that showed Lincoln and I came across many people complaining about the choice on Facebook. Needless to say, that Twilight Movie is not nominated for 12 Acadamy Awards.

Now for the humor. There in a conversation in the movie between Lincoln and a fellow from Jefferson City named Mr. Jolly about a guy from (where else) Rolla that took over his toll booth. Something that could have given this town some minor joy and fame wasn't even displayed in the town that was referenced.
