Expanding on this, I was driving home tonight. My town is built on a giant rocky hill that slopes down to Lake Superior. Part of my drive took me by a steep grassy slope. I look up and see a deer just above the height of my vehicle. So I stop because that's what you do when you see a deer due to the wildcard factor. It looks right at me and flinches towards my car. Sheer terror. I thought the thing was about to launch itself onto my vehicle and through the sunroof. Luckily it was just a fake and the thing somehow bounds up what must be at least a 45 degree slope like it's a flat field. ****ing ninja animals these deer.
Let me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
