Your Favorite Grocery Store?
Kinda random but.. what's your favorite grocery store?
For me, it's Safeway. We've got the club card, and you save a ton on almost everything. Always pretty good prices in general. There's another grocery store across the street from it which is bigger (Acme), but after going to both for a while, Safeway takes the cake.
Least favorite grocery store is Superfresh. Overpriced, not the same quality as Safeway or Acme. I've just had multiple bad experiences at Superfresh, and I'm not even picky like that. I only go there occasionally because it's a bit closer then Acme/Safeway.
For my other needs, we have a smaller grocer called Trader Joe's. Lots of good organic foods there and a good selection of stuff you don't find at the mainstream grocers. They put out a flyer every month detailing some of their items. Whoever writes it is very witty. We have a place called Whole Foods opening up too... heard they're big into the organic stuff and don't carry the huge names like Coke, Pepsi, etc, opting more for local stuff which is pretty cool. Apparently, they're a really great company to work for too. I'm in need of a new job, gonna throw in an application there when I'm in the area.
