I love the pro-glide and other Gillette blades but I cant use a blade more than once or else I get razor burn up the ***. And those blades are expensive for myself. Id rather buy a 5 dollar pack of 24 single disposables. They get the job done and get tossed immediately.

produces the best shave.
The first shave is the best, but I get alot of shaves out of one razor before I have to replace the blades.Comment

Re: Shaving with a new Razor
If you are using a disposable try getting away from that. I would suggest too that you pay attention to your shaving patterns. Don't pull down with your razor and abruptly stop. Slowly glide the razor along your face and neck line. The chin, above the lip and neck line usually are most prone to razor burn, so go at those as gently as possible without going back and scraping at it.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Re: Shaving with a new Razor
I have owned just about every razor out there. I have several Mach's ranging from the Gillette Mach 3, Fusion Turbo's, to the Quattro. I have even used electric razors. I purchased the Schick Hydro about a year ago now. I will not use another razor as long as I can find blades for this razor. It truly is the smoothest shave I have ever had. Plus the blades last 5 or 6 shaves (roughly month, I shave once a week generally. I let it get to long lol). It has the flip up blade for getting clean edges around goatee and side burns.
I highly recommend the Hydro
I use the same shaving cream also.
