Opinion on Twitter?

Surprised this hasn't been posted as a poll yet. What's your opinion on Twitter? Love it, hate it, don't care?

I land in the middle. For everyday normal people, it's not all that great. That's more Facebook stuff. On the other hand, it's a great tool for quick and up-to-the-second news. Really stood out to me when the NFL came back from the lockout for all the signings and general craziness.

And it is cool to see a firsthand response from a celebrity or athlete. Then it's also alarming when you see some of the just plain stupid stuff these same people put up there. People don't understand how public the internet is.

Don't have one currently. Or at least one that I use. I did create one for a special event but haven't checked it since that event. On a rainy day I'll probably create one for myself. Could come in handy at some point.

It's entertaining and annoying all at the same time. Great for sports news and randomness. I enjoy tweeting about the games I'm watching or playing.

And there is this certain thing that EVERYONE should follow. If everyone followed that, there would be no war. It rhymes with ShyPikeWhirlsCrayley.

Twitter is fun, I follow people that interest me and OS people. Great for interesting news.

Don't care about twitter. I go to regular sites for news still. I use my phone to talk to people

I like it very much for uncensored, and sometimes silly, sometimes serious, and often off-topic style conversations with fellow OSers and others. As long as Twitter doesn't start censoring things (words/content) I'll continue to use and like it.

I didn't like it at 1st, but I like it now. Just another app on my Iphone 4, that is how I see it. Comes in handy considering I be on the road a lot sometimes.

I like twitter it's OT without censors. I also enjoy just seeing what everyone on my feed is talking about and i'll jump in. Sometimes i'll say stuff that only interests me and be pleasantly surprised. An example of that was when I posted that Madonna's SEX book is the most requested out of print book for libraries to stock I found that it was RT by a couple ppl (or bots?)

Anyways it's pretty cool and I check it out from time to time.

All I know is that when I am feeding my 5 week old son at 2am, there is no better entertainment(at least for a guy feeding a baby)
