Thanks man, I'm glad I took Daymans advice and put them in red pants. I think that little change made the uniforms. This next one took a long-while to make. I was scanning through the old uniform updates thread and all the conversation over USC possibly getting a Pro-Combat. Well, I took what little info was floating around (black helmet, all maroon/cardinal uniform) and ran with it. Made gloves and cleats match in the uniform template and everything. I got the idea of the wall pattern on the gloves and undershirt from the famed walls of Troy. I pretty much threw tradition out the window with this one. However, since I was playing with the colors so much I basically kept the existing uniform template. I did change the width of the shoulder stripes, and cut the pant stripes like Alabamas were on their PC's. I wish I could think of some cool slogan that has to do with USC's legendary tradition and Troys impinetrable walls, but a slogan maker I am not. :-( Anyways, enough rambling on to the uniforms!

Hey like I said, I was running with what Nike had said they were doing. Which kind of looks like what was used on Stanford, I know its different but hey thats what this threads kind of for. Different strokes for different folks, thanks for the honest feedback though guys.

Its been a bit, but heres my idea for the Maryland Terps black helmet. I'll be posting uniforms and a white helmet soon.

Here are the home reds, and the helmet/pant combos I would use. Obviously they can be mixed and matched, away whites and alt black/yellows to follow.

I think I posted these in another thread/forum, but I figured I would re-post. Florida State Seminoles, I kept the jersey pretty much unchanged and since I love the white pants, but never use them and I always use the pro-combat "feather" pants, I decided to incorporate the feather into all of the pants so all the pairs had the same design.

I like Florida State's, because it adds consistency between football and basketball, Hawaii's are ok (nothing extreme or anything that stands out), but no matter how it's done, or who does it, or whatever, I'll always hate Maryland's new uniforms. Their old ones were awesome.

Thanks on the FSU ones, as far as Hawaii their is a subtle maori pattern on the shoulders, undershirts and pant stripe. I tried keeping it clean and not too jumbled, as far as Maryland, I loved the idea of using the state flag somehow in the uniforms but the way the did it was WAY over the top. So I just took the flag pattern and used it as the center stripe on both helmet sets and returned the traditional "terps" script to the side of both helmets aswell. Other than that, its pretty much a plain uniform, the Maryland colors alone are enough to create a lot of different uniform and color combinations without cluttering up the uniforms themselves.
