Ok, I tried making a thread like this in the Team Builder section for NCAA but I didnt think it really fit there. I've posted a few ideas in the Uni snobs thread and someone told me they would be intrested in a thread consisting of uniform ideas/mockups/ and "what if" discussions...sooo here it is! Post photoshop creations that can be critiqued (please no bashing, be mature), ideas for what you think would look good and general discussion about uniform ideas or refrence material you think should be used in a uniform. (Floridas scale helmet, Mich St spartan inspiration, throwbacks you would like to see re-worked, ect.)

Heres some helmets I've been working on. The navy on the Chargers helmet and the Bills logo looks way too dark on here..but it is navy and not bfbs.

I've made a couple, posted them here, but why not a re-post, eh? Might trigger me to want to make new ones.

First is a Jaguars concept that takes the uniforms closer to 1999's gorgeous ones. Right now I just have the color, but the white would look similar: the colors in the numbers would be teal inside with gold and black trim in that order. That would be the only change.

The gold pants are kind of a lark, to be honest. I chose the swiping Jaguar because... well, I've always liked that idea. I'd consider making a set of pants with some kind of "clawed" stripe... it's been a pet idea of mine.



Next is a VT orange jersey. I made this before the Hokies revealed their orange pants, which I am FIRMLY in support of. Put that under maroon helmets and maroon top? Awesome. Anyway, the stripes on this jersey wouldn't match the pants, so that would be something I'd have to fix. It would go white/maroon/white instead of the given maroon/white/maroon.



I love stripes, BTW.

I'm interested to see what people come up with. I'd like to see uniforms for other sports too, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL etc.

I like the Jags jerseys, I think it would look the best with white pants. Heres a few more helmets, I'll re-post my uniforms as well.

I wanted to try and use that for a few but I couldnt get it to open in corel paintpro, but to keep the show rollin' heres an Army "pro-combat" mock-up. I used the Army blue dress service uniform for my insperation. I pulled the matte finish from the cadets hat and the gold center stripe from the gold trim piece on the hat/beret. I used the gold trim from around the cuffs on the ASU's to inspire the trim around the sleeves. The left sleeve has a Chevron that is given to the soilders to represent rank but it doesnt show well here. The pants are a slate blue as opposed to navy just because I thought it looked a little bit better. I kept the camo pattern on the numbers to represent that even though they are dressed and presented as gentlemen they are still brave soldiers at their core.

Michigan State pro-combat uniforms. (According to ME!)

Used the black to represent the intimidating force the spartan warriors were and it also doubled as the school original colors. The trim on the sleeves and on the helmet stripe was pulled from the trim that adornes the warriors sheild which they would use to beat the opponets into submission, as the Michigan State players will do, charging head first into the battle on the grid iron. Finally the helmet is Bronze with a worn bronze pattern that represents the strength and tradition of the Spartan spirit.

Haha I figured youd flip Watson, but I wanted to try something different and your right. Didnt come out too good, but it was worth a shot to see what they would look like. Any other opinions on anything bro?

Stole a page out of Boise State's playbook, and made a black Saints helmet for those who wanted to see it last Sunday.

I think it turned out well, I like the Bills one too. Heres a Seahawks one I thought looked pretty good.

I understand why Watson doesn't like the LSU helmets. But personally I like the white one.

Love most of the helmets on here, regarding the Seahawks helmet I believe they originally came out with a grey helmet exactly like that one (or white I can't remember for sure) and were planning to wear one on the road and the other at home. Unfortunately the NFL nixed that idea and they went with the weird blueish color helmet.
