I understand why Watson doesn't like the LSU hemlets. But personally I like the white one.

I'll never support a helmet that doesn't have the Tiger head on.

However, I'd like to see what it would like if the the Baton Rouge font "LSU" was above the tiger head.

Jerseys were inspired by the Tigers old traditions. The name "tigers" was used by militia groups in Columbia during the 1850's and their reputation was so feirce they kept incoming forces out. The "wwII" jersey font was inspired by Harry S. Truman who was president following the war and for whom the Tigers named their mascot. The design cues are intimidating to opponets and respectful to Mizzou's long standing traditions.

Found a cool template for Nike Vapor gloves, heres a pair I made for the Buccaneers. I used the alternate logo because I've always loved that logo and I played with the colors a bit. Took the orange out, and recolored the pewter and red. The image behind the logo on the palms is an old pirate map I thought looked kind of cool behind the ship.

I've made a couple, posted them here, but why not a re-post, eh? Might trigger me to want to make new ones.

First is a Jaguars concept that takes the uniforms closer to 1999's gorgeous ones. Right now I just have the color, but the white would look similar: the colors in the numbers would be teal inside with gold and black trim in that order. That would be the only change.

The gold pants are kind of a lark, to be honest. I chose the swiping Jaguar because... well, I've always liked that idea. I'd consider making a set of pants with some kind of "clawed" stripe... it's been a pet idea of mine.



Next is a VT orange jersey. I made this before the Hokies revealed their orange pants, which I am FIRMLY in support of. Put that under maroon helmets and maroon top? Awesome. Anyway, the stripes on this jersey wouldn't match the pants, so that would be something I'd have to fix. It would go white/maroon/white instead of the given maroon/white/maroon.



I love stripes, BTW.

Any uniform that has those logo/patterns on the gloves automatically gets a "fail" from me. That's just a douchey look.

I just figured since I had the helmets and uniforms I might as well complete the look with the gloves too, and that would be amazing to get someone to see these uniforms. Ive always been a HUGE football fan and had an intrest in uniforms. Just kind of a hobby, I always try and keep up with whos wearing what and the design elements of the uniforms being used. Its just always something that has intrested me so I found so templates and started playing around and this is what comes out haha I'll post the good, bad and the ugly just to keep the conversation going. Like I said in the beginning, the more feedback the better and if anyone has some ideas or has their own made, throw 'em out there. I think this could be a good thread.

Heres my vision on what Nike would have done if Michigan 1. would've allowed it, and 2. was a Nike school. I think they would have done a "fauxback" to honor the 1901-1904 era Wolverines who where know as the team who scored a "point a minute." Those Wolverine teams outscored opponets by a margin of 2,821-42 and went 55-1-1. They '01 group played in, and won, the very first bowl game which happened to be the Rose Bowl. Heres the mock-up I came up with. Using a rose pattern on the undershirt which would also honor all 11 of Michigans titles. The inside collar, and back pant wording would say "A Point A Minute." I pulled the stripe design from the sweaters the team wore, which is where I assume Adiddas got the idea as well. I wanted to give them a black helmet because that was what they originally wore and the confusion it caused in the passing game was what inspired the "wing" to be added, but I couldnt find anything that said they definetavly wore those helmets during that era. So, that being said, here is what I came up with:
