Hey awesome on your move. I love Gilbert and will miss this place! Things to check out: Old Town gilbert and check out the best breakfast spot I've been to ever: Farmhouse. Also right in that area is an Oreganoes and also the best farmers market in the valley. GREAT place to get your veggeis and its all organic and CHEAP!

Also check out Casanova Bros for pizza, and you have to check out Joe's Farm Grill. Mainly burgers and most of their ingredients come from their farm across the street, its awesome.

You'll have a ton of food to check out this part of town so make sure you start working out haha.

              BTW about the business:

My dad and I will be building a hotel in El Nido Palawan, Philippines. My mom inherited a ton of land there and will be moving there in February to break ground.

That's awesome! Hope the hotel works out for you, sounds like it will be tough but amazing to work through and bring to life.

My fiancee has lived in Gilbert before, so I've got a bit of a guide...we haven't had time for any of that as of yet, but over the next few months I'm sure we will.

Re: For all of you guys who are homeowners or newly owned

We found an amazing house today. We're making an offer tomorrow. It has to be a strong offer with earnest money because it will be an offer that is contingent on us selling our house first. I am hoping and praying that we get this place. It's perfect for us with where we're at. It's listed at $189K and I may go asking price. When a house has been on the market for two weeks and the offer is contingent, you have to come in strong.

                  This house won't last long.

We dropped the price of our house by $7K to move it quicker. It's not a seller's market right now, that's for sure...

Great work Jason! Love the floors, what is the type?

Only thing I would be hesitant about is the black cabinets. We had them for about a year and hated them not long after getting them. You need to swap all appliances to black models, stove tops black models, etc. It also is a color not everyone wants in a kitchen, with most liking the clean look of white in kitchens.

This is why we changed in such a short time back from black to white cabinets.

Great work though man, just be mindful of the black cabs in kitchen

Oh the counter tops look great too

Good Luck... Id go with the offer price on the home. Seems to work much better from there than low balling people unless there is just too much work to be done.

Looks real nice though..lol@ the cost difference in real estate in California than other places man..wooooo

Not black, espresso, I guess the pics don't do them justice. And yes, appliances are gonna be stainless (not black) when we get the chance. Microwave is coming out, we don't use it, and I will be putting a proper hood up there.

I will post a proper kitchen pic now that everything is done (minus the backplash behind the stove as we haven't decided on what we want to do there quite yet) so y'all can see the details a bit better.

Oh nice, that makes more sense and will look amazing with stainless appliances. Combo that with those floors and look out you got a real winner there.

Those floors are absolutely beautiful! Well done man!
