I have a decent size yard and it takes me about 30 min for the front and 30 min the back.

    Front is 100' x 40', back is 100' x 60'.

I don't go through that much gas for a smaller front and back yard, but otherwise it'd be cool for me too. My blower, weed eater, and mini chainsaw branch cutter are all electric so I don't have to worry there.

My Toro does a great job on my lawn and I got it cheaper on Craigslist....not sure I could justify higher prices for the new stuff like this. Tempting though.
Well I have 2 riding mowers both over $1000 each and 1 Toro self-propelled push I could get $200 for. Sell all those would easily make up the $500 for this Ego 56v.

My current one I use is a 42" Snapper like this. My back up is same design just in 28" cut so its drastically smaller.

What I'm am thinking in my head is keep the 42" riding as a backup then sell the 28" riding and push mower. I should be able to basically swap those 2 for a new Ego battery powered. See how it works, if I have any issues with it then I can exchange it while still having my 42" riding mower.

Yeah, plus the riding can be nice if you're in a rush or something I'd think.

I think doing something like that would work out for you and let you see how the Ego does.

Closed on that house today here in Pensacola. 3 bedrooms 2 baths, built in '97.

So happy to be finished with living in apartments.

I've been using the Ortho Home Defense Max. Every 3 months, I get around all my windows (inside and outside), door frames (inside and outside), base boards (inside), and sofit vents (outside). I rarely see a bug inside my home, I swear by it. My wife might see one and it will be coming up on the 3 month time period, then I hear "honey time to spray again". I go spray and golden for a good 3 months again. A container like this last me over a year normally. Plus the sprayer is battery powered so you just squeeze trigger and it does all the work, no pumping a spray trigger all the damn time. Plus it sure beats pest control monthly fees.

Re: For all of you guys who are homeowners or newly owned

Finally got water restored to my house.

Three plumbers told me it wasn't possible to access the leak from the space under the stairs. They insisted they'd have to tear up the bathroom floor to get to it.

When the plumber came out yesterday, I told him if he couldn't get to it from under the stairs, I'd rather try to re-route it than tear up the bathroom floor. After several hours and several holes in my dry wall trying to trace the pipe to re-route it, I finally insisted he try to fix it from under the stairs. And what do you know, he was able to access it and fix it from there.

I was going to try that this weekend....we get some scorpions that visit every spring which tends to lead to a "Honey, call the guys to come spray". Think this stuff would help keep scorpions out? I'd spray around windows, perimeter and whatnot as well....we don't have tons of scorpions, just a few get in through doors or something like that.

Its not made to be a contact killer. It dehydrates a insect in 15 to 20 min, so it is a slow killer that kills upon crossing barrier.
