Also, this Texas heat is killing my grass like none other! The front yard is okay, but my backyard is almost completely dead.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. You guys have grass? I usually tell my wife I'm going out to mow the weeds. If my grass had the same surviving skills as those weeds, I'd have the best grass in the city...
(Not to mention the ant hills).

Purchased a condo in the city this past week as an investment property. The owner was an old lady who had been put in a home by the family and the kids were given power of attorney and evidentally needed to liquidate the property. Got an awesome deal but property was a "as is" situation so there was a good bit of work to be done on the interior. Everything has been easy to do myself, but there was wall to wall ceiling to floor flower print wallpaper throughout............................did not realize how much of a pain in the *** it was to remove this stuff. In hindsight, I probably would have contracted the removal out because it has taken me hours and hours to remove it all. Just a little tip for any new homeowners or property flippers........see walllpaper......***n lol....or hire someone to do it.

Re: For all of you guys who are homeowners or newly owned
I got some Ortho weed spray that connects to your hose. That stuff took care of most of my nasty weeds, it's crazy. I had some funky thick weeds sprouting up making my back yard look like trash. Slowly getting better. It's not easy though, especially when I don't know what I'm doing lol.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: For all of you guys who are homeowners or newly owned
I think this was what I got, if not similar. On the instructions it says to spray on grass and whatnot...I made sure it wasn't like Roundup which says "Weed AND Grass killer"....Yours may work, just not sure what the directions are.
I would think that it's a spray through water that it'd be similar...looks alike.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: For all of you guys who are homeowners or newly owned
for some reason I don't see it sold at Home Depot or Canadian Tire, at least it I can't find it online.
Seems 'stronger' than the ones I found. I'll try looking for some spray this weekend. Probably need to buy a new hose, since the one I have is too short and I can't get around the front lawn with it freely.
Speaking about hoses, I need a new hose that doesn't kink, since mine is all twisted and bent. Gotta find something more solid. My Specs:

Re: For all of you guys who are homeowners or newly owned
I had a problem develop in a small half bath in back of my house. It is a bathroom that we never use but I walked in and found water under the vanity. Come to find out the on/off connections had been leaking a while and never shown because it was leaking down back wall then under the tile floor settling along the sheetrock and baseboards. Talk about a total pain in the ***.
I ripped everything out, bought all new vanity, toilet, hardware for the sink, and tiles for the floor. I hate cutting and laying ceramic tiles but I gotta do what I gotta do.
Ripped all this out Saturday, letting it fully dry out till Wednesday, then going to start installing new sheetrock this Thursday, hopefully by Sunday I can have it complete with a post picture lol
