    Its most likely not the eggs, as most if not all eggs in commercial use are pasteurized to avoid any potential issues.

    Its the same thing with brownie or cake mixes. I use them to make homemade ice cream, but you have to make sure to do it with a custard base, otherwise you might end up getting sick.

      The E.Coli was thought to have come from the flour.

      Oh, and guess who now has a partially eaten bowl of cookie dough in the fridge.....

          I prefer normal cookies...my wife is a mean baker and I can wait the 12-15 minutes for a proper baked good. No need to dip in to the dough.

              Never been a raw cookie dough eater. Love chocolate chip cookies that have been in the oven about 8 minutes. Let 'em sit about 2 minutes. Melt in your mouth.

                Honestly, the only reason I don't eat raw cookie dough is because I feel stupid doing it. Not because it's "bad" for you, but rather I think it just looks dumb.
