TV of 2011, OS Style

As the year comes to an end, I think it would be cool to find out what was OS's best TV show of 2011, and I'm looking for panelist who will submit their vote/choices to determine the winner.

Here's how it will be determine, I'm looking for users to rank their favorite show by giving it a number value 1-10. (1, lowest, 10 highest) and then PM me their results. At the end I will add up all the votes and whoever has the most wins.

Some other directions for those that want to participate(the best TV shows of 2011)

You have 75 points to dole out among 10 to 15 shows(minimum of 7 shows on a ballot), with a maximum of 10 points for any given show.

Just PM me your ballot, deadline to turn in is Dec 25th

If you have any question feel free to ask them.

Also you should rank on what the show did this year, not over the entire lifetime of the series

Wait, if the most is 10 points to any show, why do some shows have more than 10 in your example?

Can we write shows on our ballot that are still on TV, but are no longer showing new episodes? Like My Name is Earl or M*A*S*H; both are on TV regularly, but have been cancelled for years.

What about shows that are not regularly on TV, but occasionally shown in a marathon weekend on TV Land?

Wait, if the most is 10 points to any show, why do some shows have more than 10 in your example?

That's not an actual OS ballot, I just borrowed it from a site, so that people can see the format of how a ballot should be

Breaking Bad = yes. Mad Men= No

I'm little a disappointed by the participation, but that's my fault for not suggesting this earlier.(Next year I'll start this project a bit earlier) Because of that I did decided to shorten the list to the Top 5(actually 6) shows in 2011.

First some shows that just missed the cut.

American Horror Story. (17 points) I watched this because of Connie Britton, but gave up on it early because it was all over the place.


Sons Of Anarchy(16 points) A show I've never watched, but seems like I should


4th.(Tie)Boardwalk Empire/How I Met Your Mother/ Archer(19 points) How Archer Sterling drunkenly discovered that Nucky Thompson murdered Ted Mosby's wife?

3rdCommunity (21 points) Not many watch, but those that do give it high marks. Sounds Familiar?

2nd. Breaking Bad I'm wasn't sure this season could top their last but somehow they did.

1st. Parks And Recs Osers must really like this small fictional town in Indiana as it was on the most ballots. (31 points)

I had Parks and Rec, Community, How I Met Your Mother, and Archer all in my list. So I'm satisfied with how that came out.

I must've been the only person to list Louie. Because I gave it 10 and it still missed the cut.

I gave Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones all 10's and Son's of Anarchy a 9. Apparently not many people on OS like truly great, compelling television.
