 Re: Off Topic 2012

People still buy ipods ? :P

I just popped in NCAA 11 for the first time in 6 months. I got online and played a guy and instantly, he's all day hurry up, bump coverage and crashing the defensive line on every single down and never punting/kicking a field goal.

I got halfway through the game and was winning 21-14 and still quit. I've got better **** to do with my free time, man.. that's why I miss playing in a league.

He sends me a msg afterwards and says, "Why you quit bitch ?".

My response would be "Why would I be a bitch, if I quit with the lead ? I've just got better **** to do than play your scrub self".

I decided just to block him and move on.. I quit wasting time on idiots a long time ago.Last edited by AUChase; 05-07-2012, 11:05 PM.Comment

Actually, two. My fiance is a Hokie fan (although I'm sure she embellishes a bit). I think it's because she wasn't paying hard enough attention to 1999.

I miss that glorious sports year. My life got better while my teams got ****tier. NOT FUNNY UNIVERSE!

Thanks, and thanks for everyone for their support. I promise I won't complain too much at my new job.Rose City 'Til I Die

One more final exam at 8 AM and then it is finally summer. This has been a brutal couple of days with three finals in 27 hours. I'm not sure if I will get any sleep tonight as I really need to study.Comment

Congrats on the job. I think I read you were moving to Eugene. I graduated from UO, and while Eugene isn't the center of the universe, it is a nice place to live for a few years.Actually, two. Summers tend to be really nice in the valley. It's not like the East Coast where it gets ridiculously humid. It'll be 90 during the day, but without the humidity it's surprising how pleasant it is. Gets cool at night too which is really nice for sleeping.

Anyway, make sure you get out and see every part of the state. It is one of the most stunning landscapes that you'll find anywhere. Stay out of Springfield.Comment
