My parents paid my insurance, when I first started driving. When I swapped cars, I've paid for it since then. I'm 22 with a yellow "sports car", so my insurance is around $150/mo., which equals out to be $900/6mo.

Even when I was driving just a basic Honda Civic on my parents, it was an additional $100/mo.


Further OT: I started watching Mad Men, last night. It was an okay first episode and I plan to continue watching. In y'alls opinion, is this a wise decision ?

For you guys paying so much or single coverage, remember I'm not quoting for collision on two of the three cars. Just liabilty. The cars we have are old and not worth the deductibles.
No job no insurance. I'm only paying for 6 months, then she's on her own. No insurance, no drive. The car is in my name.

You need to hook me up with that discount Matt. I can't offer up the first born in trade but my 2nd one is all yours. Well that makes sense on why your rate would be that. But back to that discount, hook a fellow Fresnoite up.

I've been dreading the diaper thing too. Everytime I go in the store, I cry a little. Apparently, newborns go through anywhere b/t 3,000 to 5,000 diapers, in the first year.

I'll give you a second...


I've heardthat Costco and Sams are great for diapers. I also heard to check out Amazon.

I have approx. 2 and half months to prepare.

Haha, we actually could probably figure something out. The hospital carries sizes up to 4. Although the cost of shipping may offset the actual savings.
Let me know when you guys are closer to the due date and I'll just ship you a case of newborns as a shower gift. Let everyone know now Chef Matt has newborn diapers sewed up and to just get 1's or 2's. A case of newborns has like 144! So many that you probably won't use them all before the baby goes into the next size.
That's what happened with my last boy. We had 2 packs left and he was already in 1's.
I'm serious too, I will send you a case of newborns.

No idea why I find myself responding to "How's everything going today?" with "Good not bad" haha. I don't really know why I say that so much whenever I'm asked that at a convenient store or liquor store or wherever.

CtL, that number is highly exaggerated. Actual useage is around 6-8 diapers a day for newborns and much less towards the end of the year.

We switched over to the target brand diapers and haven't looked back. They are cheaper and we've had no problems with them.

Just hope wherever your wife/significant other works, is nice enough to throw her some sort of shower. The girls that work with my sister threw her a "Diaper Party". Instead of bringing gifts, they all brought her diapers.

So today for my Writing for Comm class, we were to make a 10 minute newscast with only 10 seconds to miss over or under, with only 2 hours to put it all together. We were all given assignments and received the same grade. Of course I was chosen as the Sports Editor, but my "talent" didn't even show up for the frickin final. So I had to drag my happy *** up and present. On the practice run, we were 31 seconds over so I decided that we should completely scrap a story about Bryce Harper (that was ~27 seconds) AND some useless facts from a Remi Ayodele story.


We ended up going for 9:45

Yay for taking responsibility for ****ing everything up for everybody! Even though I was the freaking editor for 5 different people and part programmer.
