LOL, I used to do that. I would switch controllers and intentionally get a player sent off and then switch back.

hahaha....oh, so your team can score within 5 minutes of mine EVERYTIME?!?!? Let's see what happens when all of your players play with 50 pound ankle weights (proceeds to drop CPU sprint speed & agility to 0)!

That's the way young kids played the game years ago, I knew people who would do that. I'm not sure if people got that low nowadays.

I used to do that with the NES game Baseball Stars. I would have both controllers set up in front of me. I'd pitch to myself and if I hit a pop up or something I would grab the other controller and move the defensive player out of the way and the ball would drop. Good times!!

When it comes to my games, I never grew up.
Of course I kid (haha pun), I do use the method for equaling things that happen because of a glitch, but I play clean 98% of the time.

It felt so good today to delete Desperate Housewives from my DVR's series recordings. 8 seasons of complete nonsense!

Speaking of complete nonsense. The girl I've been seeing had me watching Mob Wives last night. Never getting that hour of my life back.

A game that I can't find a happy median with is NBA 2k11. I'll have the occasional down game, but I'm 21-6 with my current Association and the games that I win, I seem to win convincingly, but then there's games where I lose close. I hardly ever just get wrecked, but if I went up on difficulty, I would lose most of my games.

Random Post (then again, this is the OT thread)...

Who remembers playing this years ago? Somehow this game popped in my head last night.

I'm kind of at a crossroads with FIFA myself. I'm not the greatest at it just yet, and I'm kind of stuck as I can't seem to beat Professional without adjusting the sliders down, but I destroy teams on Semi-Pro.

I can score goals, keep possession, and out shoot my CPU opponent on World Class...but the CPU ALWAYS scores on 80% of their shots on target. my games are always 2-2, 3-3 type games.

The contain button has helped a bit. I blanked Leeds in my Crystal Palace dynasty the other day...but lost to Nottingham Forest 2-1...giving up 2 shots.

I forced myself to end a lengthy career legacy on CH2k8 out of shame from cheating to win. Was getting completely stomped and couldn't take it anymore, turned the 3 point slider up to 100 and it was bombs away . I rationalized later that I was just mad at the CPU for getting mad at my cheesing. They couldn't stop my pick n roll so they pulled a little CPU magic in frustration.

I still can't get my sliders how I want in 2k11. I went 15-14 in a 29 game season, then swept the #2 seed Bulls in the first round. I've come to the realization that the sliders aren't as big a problem as my playing style. If I freestyle too much, or run plays too much, I fall apart, I need to find the right balance. Something clicked against Chicago, maybe my players were just in good spirits the 1st two games from all the sexy ladies , then carried the momentum back to the Palace.

I drove to the Birmingham airport, to pick up our "Regional Strategist" and he asked me if I have ate lunch (I had a sandwich and some chips). I said yeah, and he offered to buy my lunch if I wanted to stop off somewhere.

It's not like I was losing anywhere. I drove a company car, with company gas, on company time..

I've yet to meet anyone who works for this company, regardless of how high up the chain they are, that's not just flat out nice.
