Yeah, I have my days, but I'm easily one of the better workers there. I'm great with customers and I'll work my *** off to get anyone in a car, especially those with the lower end credit scores.

If we were behind on budget or It wasn't that big of a deal, I would go on in. It's not like if I called and told them how I felt (genuinely feel bad, hence the fact that I can't sleep right this moment) they would urge me to stay home. So, instead of burning any more PTO, I'll just take today off and work Wednesday - Saturday...

It's not something I would do very often. I've never even been so much as a minute late and I work over almost every day, without complaining.

I goota come up with some sort of attire for this thing.

Coincidentally, if you are invited to a white trash party, you should already have that attire.

A PBR T-shirt & one of those mullet wig/hat things are always good at those things.

I do despise those theme parties though. Why can't we just get drunk? Why do we have to play dress up like a bunch of 5 year old girls?

Maybe I've been away from OT for too long but I thought you worked at like a Home Depot or Lowes and were taking courses to do engineering or mining or something.

Man, I'm all over the place.

You're right, I was doing the Mining Technology classes. I'm certified to work underground now, but I missed the hiring block at the place my friend works at and it's really the only mine I'll consider working for. It's high coal and just a better place with a great record. They have one hiring block, once a year. Outside of that, it's all about "who you know". I've got some great references between two friends and a former mining foreman, who now works for them in Columbia South America.. also happens to be my best friend's dad. They're just not hiring, right now.

I also just went a few weeks ago and passed an assessment to work for Mercedes Benz and I'll be going back for a third interview, within the next week or two. Their process is extremely slow.

I worked as a Supervisor for HD for almost 2 years and spent a total of 3 years there and now I work as a Sales Advisor for DriveTime.

It sounds like I've been everywhere, but really just interviewing and qualifying myself for a bunch of other ****. I like to keep my options open.

Man that is all over the place lol. But hey it's good to have a diverse background of education and experiences.

Plus it should help you decide what you like and don't like and what you might want to do for the rest of your life.

They should supply everyone with a parachute and be done with it.

Seems like the only reasonable thing to do.


Speaking of parachutes, my skydiving reservations are coming up next month! Going with 10 other people.. paid for the package to have it recorded and pictures taken.

If only we received the flying cars Sci-Fi movies predicted. Shoot, I'm still waiting for my hovering skateboard from Back to the Future. That happened in 2015 though, so they still have time.

Is the TV for the bedroom or living room? If you're buying for the bedroom, 32" would be fine for 7-8 feet away. For the living room I'd go bigger and say 40".
