Is there a drunk version of this picture? As much as Matt talks about liquor, I imagine him kind of like the Roger Sterling of chefs, but without the funny, suave, or charm. Just the drunk.

So one of my friends was throwing out old clothes and things like that and was on the verge of ditching a retro Jordan jersey. I quickly stopped him and gave him $10 for it. The only issue is this:



Those stains are a few years old. Any chance in hell I'd be able to get them out? And if so, how?

I'll still keep it with those awful stains but it'd be really nice if I could remove them.

You could try some oxi-clean spray some other spray-on stain remover. Since it's on the white part you don't have to worry much about color fade. though being as the stains are years old, you may be out of luck either way.

Have a guy from Charter here setting up Internet. Only one entire cable plug in the entire floor works and that's being used for the cable box, so after an hour the dude has just decided to drill a new hole through the wall an start from scratch.

I understand what is meant.

However, shouldn't there either be a comma or an and?

It should be.... I would rather cuddle, then have sex ---or--- I would rather cuddle and then have sex.

Am I right? Or just confused?

That works, grammatically, but it reads better (see, not as a trick statement) with a comma.

However, since the point is confusing idiots with the "then"/"than" differences, it still works like this.

Hmm, I was under the impression that a comma is also used to prevent confusion.

Although the then separates both thoughts and the 2dn thought doesn't have a subject, so I guess that's where the comma becomes a non-need?

Since its just two things there's no dire need for the comma, it just sounds better.

If there were three things in the list "Id rather cuddle then have sex then sleep" you should really use the commas.

And yes, a comma in the example would avoid the confusion, but the whole point of the statement is to make it confusing for people who don't notice the difference between then and than.

I just had the weirdest most awkward conversation with this lady (who's in her 50s) at work.

This is how it went:

Me: At work browsing OS and waiting on 5 to get here

Her: *walks into my office
So I heard you taking a little vacation. Are y'all working half a day tomorrow, or...

Me: We're leaving today after work actually

Her: Oh, cool. Have you got anything special planned?

Me: I mean, I'm going to take her to some nice dinners and stuff, but we're mainly just going to get away and relax.

Her: Guys don't ever think of stuff

Me: What do you mean?

Her: You know...

Me: Well, we're going to do some gambling tonight, then go to the beach tomorrow and just hang out on the there for a couple of days

Her: No, you could have got her a "toy" or something, but guys don't ever think of stuff like that

Me:

Her: You two are young, you're still fresh aren't you?
