Re: Off Topic 2012

Speechless. I guess we just have radically different cultures, that something like this could even be allowed to happen, but really people actually paid to eat that?Minnesota Vikings

Re: Off Topic 2012
Not that I really believe in this sort of thing, but I'm starting to believe I have a ghost (or ghosts) in my house. I've always had the occasional holy **** moment where you feel like someone is right behind you or at least in your presence, only to see there's no one there, but I never thought too much of it. I just figured it was me being paranoid.
Well anyways, I've had to "kittysit" two cats the past two days. They've mostly been hiding because they're too scared of new surroundings, but one of them has started coming out every so often. The weird thing is, she keeps looking over an area of the basement like someone is standing there, but there's no one there. She'll even start walking gingerly towards that area and then just stop and look in that direction. It's really weird and I'm getting the feeling there actually is something there. I'm pretty sure I've heard animals are really good at detecting this kind of thing as well.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. Re: Off Topic 2012
I have mad OCD. I brought Jolly Ranchers to work and had 4 blue raspberry and 3 cherry. The extra blue raspberry was bothering me to the point where I had to eat it so I had an even amount of both

A friend of my dad swears he grew up in a haunted house. He even claims he saw the apparition of the ghost. I've never had a ghostly experience, but I have seen a "UFO".Not that I really believe in this sort of thing, but I'm starting to believe I have a ghost (or ghosts) in my house. I think you're reading too much into the cats behavior, cats are strange animals when they are in their own home, in new surroundings cats are skittish as hell. Not that I really believe in this sort of thing, but I'm starting to believe I have a ghost (or ghosts) in my house. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Re: Off Topic 2012
13 here
If I started having cheese disappear, I'd immediately know who's ghost was responsible. That would my my Newfoundland, Thor, who died back in 2005. Though Newfs are known for their slobber, Thor really only slobbered when food was around or if someone said the name of one of his 2 favorite treats. Pig ears or Cheese. You had to be careful when giving him cheeese too because he'd get a bit to exuberant and take your fingers with the cheese.
Yeah, you also have to remember that cats have much more acute senses than humans. There's probably a small animal or bug hanging out in the area that the cat can see/hear but you can't or some other mundane explanation like that.Originally posted by bighoffI think you're reading too much into the cats behavior, cats are strange animals when they are in their own home, in new surroundings cats are skittish as hell.Last edited by BurghFan; 05-25-2012, 10:39 AM.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII
