Wow, is it give your medical history night on OS tonight? I'd give you mine, but it would probably exceed the maximum character limit for posts (if there is one). Mainly just many many many ear infections growing up and a number of surgeries to try and stop them.

She preferred to prescribe stuff over and over that didn't work, so eventually I just said screw it and stopped altogether.
That doesn't seem right. You should have asked her why she wouldn't prescribe it or tried to find a different doctor who would prescribe it since it worked for you.

Was on Zoloft for a bit. Started on 25 mg (I think) and had no issues but when my doctor upped the dose to 50 mg it started giving me chest pains/anxiety. Different meds effect everyone differently. Welbutrin made me irritible and Paxil made my stomach feel queasy.

Yeah. when I was moving into my apartment and starting graduate school I got all off schedule and got a little weird for a bit (mainly just being excessively paranoid about things). Also I had some trouble in getting a prescription transferred which caused me to be without it for a few days and the main withdrawl effect was that I was insanely ridiculously tired.

Well if your chiropracter doesn't think there's anything wrong then I think that answers your question right there. Go to your PCP and I'm guessing he'll probably refer to to a specialist to have it looked at.

I had something like that when I was in college. It was this weird (but brief) little pain that seemed to occur mainly when I swallowed liquid. Went to the health center and the Dr. said it might be a bit of esophagitis that may have been brought on my stress.

Yeah, I hate medicine that has a high probability of messing with your state of consciousness. When I was prescribed painkillers after I had my wisdom teeth extracted, I don't think I ever took more than half a pill at a time and only used them for maybe 1 1/2 days.

Also, the last part reminded me of an incident when I was in college. I'd gone to the health center with this weird rash (later diagnosed as pityrhiassis which I think was a geenralized allergic reaction to a solution I was using frequently during my senior projec) and the Doctor kept saying he could give me something for the itching even though I repeatedly told him it didn't itch.

Autism does come in many forms. Hell, I'm pretty sure I have some form of it. As for bipolar disorder, I have 2 cousins (on opposite sides of the family) who have it.

The definition of autism is insanely broad. I have a non-verbal learning disability that is technically a form of autism and basically, when I tell someone that I'm autistic, they normally go through the whole "Yeah, right, I know you're lying" thing for about five minutes, until I finally convince them that I'm telling the truth... apparently I'm good at hiding it. Who knew?

Yeah almost everyone fits into the Autism spectrum at some point.
The therapist also said I have mild PTSD from all the yelling. My other personality traits/disorders depending on who you ask is I'm not good at reading other peoples emotions, I've really gotta keep my mouth shut because I'll say something inappropriate. My sense of humor is horrible and I find something funny in everything. I'm pretty lethargic about a lot of stuff and really have to try to act excited or show the appropriate emotions.

My wife hates that I can't be there emotionally.

I totally heard about that on the radio on my way to work out. That's freaking crazy. There's not even a zoo or anything anywhere near there. Last I heard they hadn't found it yet. Good luck finding a tiger at night...

It's been exactly four years (give or take a few hours), since I graduated high school. I still remember graduation, the party, and bits and pieces of the week we spent in Panama City. Senior Week was a lot of fun. It's probably a good damn thing I wasn't legal to drink, because I did plenty anyways + some other **** I won't talk about.

It's amazing how much growing up takes place between 18-22. I actually have some strong goals I hope to achieve, in life. Of course I still like to have some fun, but I just can't do it every night, anymore.
