Talked to my boss. I went in and said its been a year, told him I love working here and see no reason to leave in the future and that I wanted to help expand and build the business (which is what he told me wanted when he first interviewed me) and also asked for a raise.
On the networking/bringing in clients front he basically just said its a "over periods of time" process unless I look into joining a business organization. Have you guys had any experience in them? Also, what ways do you guys network? Since graduation and moving my network has dwindled quite a bit, so I feel like I'm in a "transition" phase between groups of people. Plus, my bonus is tied to the business I bring in and that would be nice to get.
As for the raise, he told me he was planning on waiting until September since that's when he moved me to salary last year (which when he said that made sense to me and I didn't think about it that way for some reason). Either way he said he would review somethings and talk to me about it again.
I've never asked for a raise before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm not disappointed.
