Guess who just watched all of Armageddon?

It doesn't matter how many times I watch it; my eyes always tear up during the last 20 minutes. Awesome movie.

This is a post in which I intended to summarize my weekend. After typing up 2 drafts I realized how unremarkable it was and decided this post about me intending to summarize my weekend would be 2 notches more remarkable than my unremarkable weekend.

In other news, this weekend I realized that I tend to use too many words to convey very simple points.

Well things are finally getting back to normal here!

I should be back to my normal routine now so expect to see me hanging around here again I've gotta say it's nice seeing relatives I haven't seen in some time but man, i've been going out and staying out late basically every night.

I know I usually stay up late anyways but there's a difference between staying up late at home and staying up late in a loud environment with a bunch of people.

Funny story happened earlier this morning. I went into a Tim Hortons coffee shop with my wife and son. This particular Tim's is is merely a 2 minute walk away from my old high school. Needless to say this particular Tim Horton's is always packed with High School kids all the time. I get in line and my wife and son go get a table. THEN, this high school girl comes over to me and tries to hit on me in a line up full of people. She touches my arm and says, "How come I haven't seen your handsome face around school before?" She kind of took me off guard. I chuckled and looked around and saw a gang of her friends watching in anticipation. I looked at my wife but she hadn't seen it. I thought for a second and then said. "You wouldn't have seen me. I haven't been to that school since 1996!" I stretched out my arm in my family's direction and said, 'Would you like to meet my wife and son?" Her face went completely white and started fumbling her words and saying sorry and whatnot. She walked back over to her group of friends who were laughing their butts off! She immediately left. I laughed, the people in the line up laughed it was great. Afterwards I told my wife what happened and she laughed as hard as I did.

Quite a funny story. I'm surprised the girl didn't blow it off and kept going after you. Y'know the whole status of being with the "older man with a family" thing. At least it shows there are some kids with class er well can't really say that since she hit on you.

Did make me laugh quite a bit though.

I was buying beer @ 16. Great then, but I'm not 30 yet and look about 40.

This might be the only time I will EVER seek advice on anyone who plays the guitar. It's generally NOT my cup of tea.

But, it seems Jack White wrote it. It is a very good song IMO. The instrumental was a heavenly sound. So, anything of his I should listen to?
All of his stuff is amazing. He's been going solo since leaving the White Stripes, and though I haven't heard the whole album, one of the singles from it, Sixteen Saltines, is legit.

I look old for my age as well. Although, I attribute it to years of smoking and drinking.
