I had a 32in Toshiba REGZA LCD.

My dad bought it from me, when I went to upgrade to a 40" Toshiba REGZA LED. I think Toshiba is my favorite brand, but I've also owned a Vizio and a Samsung before (Samsung and LG are probably made in the same place, considering their appliances are).

You mean country or factory location?

Yes, they are both South Korean brands.

All my flat screens are now either LG or Samsung. My older ones were Sony, but the newer Sony's are much more than Sam & LG (in stores like Best Buy, etc.) so I changed brands when buying new TV's.

Anyone heard anything about an FBI internet shutdown ?

I'm not asking to provoke any talk about the government or politics.. just wondering if anyone had any insight.

My mom was talking to me about something she heard on the news and I did a little research. I'm still a bit skeptical/confused, but it only mentioned something about malicious DNS settings.

I think i've discovered a fool proof, one year plan for getting all the women you could want. *note: I didn't do this on purpose, it just happened.

Step 1: Find a semi attractive female with a ton of friends

Step 2: Become friends with said female for about a month

Step 3: Slowly start being a jerk to said female, until she starts wondering whats happening

Step 4: Make her want to gain your friendship back (should be around month 6 by now)

Step 5: Keep being a slight jerk while being very slightly nice every once in a while to keep her wanting your friendship back.

Step 6: When she blows up and gets really pissed at you (if following the plan correctly should be around month 11) for being a jerk to her, become very nice and basically be her best friend.

Step 7: Watch as every single one of her friends now thinks you are the sweetest guy in the world and either wants to date you or set you up with one of their friends

Step 8: proceed to choose the female of your choice

I'm friends with my friend's girlfriend too, since we all graduated together. She's always looking for people to try to set me up with... she's picked some good ones and some bad ones to introduce me to. The looks have always been there, though..

I don't know all the specific steps or the order of them, I just know my process invariably results in needing to find a river and buying cinder blocks.
