Basically the only reasons mammals came to dominate over the past 65 million years is because the end Cretaceous extinction event opened up many ecological niches that needed to be and were filled by the rapid diversification of mammals after dinosaurs went extinct. Before the extinction event that wiped out the dinosaurs, mammals were little more than burrowing shrew-like animals.

You're correct on that but mammals would probably come to dominate sooner or later. There's been evidence over the last decade or so that dinosaurs were starting to die out naturally by the time the Extinction Event took place. The main theory is that they were being killed slowly by disease carried by insects etc etc. So if the natural order of things were left to play out we'd probably still have some of the smaller dinos while the larger ones would've surely been killed off.


ANYWAYS......

So today was a bit fortuitous for me as I went out to buy some blank media at Wal-Mart unfortunately they only carried a brand that I don't like using so I went to the Staples across the street and got what I needed for far cheaper than I normally would've gotten it for.

It's the small things like these that make my day LOL

I would so fly an Articuno to class everyday.

Or, more accurately, I would so let my Articuno fly to my college by itself every day, use Blizzard, then enjoy my snow day.
