Re: Off Topic 2012
I've been hit on in HS at a couple of parties when I had a GF, it was hell of awkward somehow I always found my way out of it after I realized what was going on.
In college I have at clubs a few times as well and those were true "Like a Boss" moments because 99% of the time it's the other way around.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Off Topic 2012
I don't really party not because I'm nervous or anything but just because partying isn't really my thing, I just sit around while everyone's getting drunk and kind of get bored. I'm more of a person that likes to focus on mind engaging activities like Reading, Fishing, Working on Projects, obviously Gaming... and most girls my age haven't reached that maturity level where they can share interests on a more intimate level and I either come off as boring with little personality to them, or just extremely conceited because I stay away from the crowd.Minnesota Vikings

Yeah maybe I'm with the wrong crowd right now, but I'm more of a shy person in general even when I put myself out there I'm more reserved, just not someone that can let it all out and be "wild".

I'm not big into the partying or anything either. I mean, now that I have a girlfriend, I'll go to a party with her every few weeks or so to dance or see all our friends or something, but partying/going to the bars/hooking up with random girls isn't really my thing.
I'd rather just sit back and chill and have some drinks with some people and play pong than go out to all the frat parties that my other friends go to.
But I've gotten hit on a few times since I got to school.NFL: Bills

Re: Off Topic 2012
I was never big on partying because I don't usually like to mingle in large crowds and an over-abundance of alcohol has never really been my thing.
Since I've graduated, got a new job, and moved I feel like I really have nobody to hang out with anymore and it sucks sometimes. I've always been a loner type guy, but it would be nice to have some friends on this side of the highway. It would be nice to have a shorty, but its not my main focus anymore. I'd rather not go to a bar just to hang out or do something, but around here that's really all there is to do.
Plus, I rarely see people my age in this town. All the people working retail/restaurants are teenagers. The adults are significantly older, too. Its either people are too young or too old, lol.

Re: Off Topic 2012
The spring semester will actually be kinda interesting because that's when my girlfriend and I both turn 21, and while I've been to bars before and basically think you're paying inflated prices for watered down drinks, she's never been to a bar on her own before; just with her family.
I assume we'll end up going to the bars every few weeks like we do with parties even though neither of us are big partiers.
But personally, I'd much rather go to one of my frat's parties (it's a co-ed honors fraternity, and it's only people from our frat and their significant others that go so I know everybody) and just chill than go to a bar and get judged for not really liking beer/pay higher prices for watered down drinks.
I'm admittedly not the norm for college students lol. And neither is my girlfriend. We don't really like getting completely wasted every weekend like even the majority of the fraternity.Last edited by Yeah...THAT Guy; 07-20-2012, 09:20 AM.NFL: Bills
