I can't wait until tomorrow. A half day, then a Thanksgiving drive to Seattle (well, a suburb) to spend Thanksgiving with my aunt and uncle.

Also, sorry for not complaining about my job all the time. I'm finding it's hard to complain about this one.

I do like, though, that fate seems determined to make up for this newfound job happiness by making your football teams a collective dumpster fire.

You're right about that. Just this morning I had a disagreement with my child's mother. Here I was all ticked off for the first half of the day, then come on here and read about a fellow poster losing his 16 year old daughter unexpectedly. Around the holidays of all times.

Puts me having to slightly adjust my schedule on Thanksgiving into perspective.

That's what it is all about man. Good stuff. Every kid deserves happiness, even though it is a material thing, I'm sure he is stuck seeing what most other kids have and not being able to 'enjoy' such.

Apparently by his word, English guys in the Bronx get jumped all the time.

There is some truth to that, don't really have to be British, just using proper pronunciation of words was enough to get you picked on and or jumped in Chicago. But having that British accent just made it worse. Just like it is a good number of island boys who have that British accent, they too use to get picked on and or jumped on for talking like that.

Just plain ignorance really. If you talked proper, dressed proper and got good grades you were labeled as trying to be one of them people.
