Maybe. He was a pretty big deal here locally when he attended PC. She was high school junior(your typical female at that age). The rumor around school was that it happened, but my buddy at the time and her both denied it.

I always thought the two did hook up.

But yeah, that's my God Shammgod story. Fun times.

And i'm basically done with class minus 3 finals and one final math assignment.

I'm so happy to pretty much be done with classes that have 0 to do with my major.

The music channel (it's from their cable package) where I'm having lunch just went from No Diggity to Beach Boys - Good Vibrations. Earlier it was RuPaul followed by MJ - Billie Jean. What station could this be?

You do realize intranet is an actual word right ?

Funny back story. Years ago this guy said what you said, intranet, trying to be cool and hip talking to this woman he was trying to hit on. Little did he know that the lady and myself was IT people. If you saw her you wouldn't think she was, she didn't look like the type. But anyway he said intranet and some other stuff then, laughed.

Lady didn't laugh, and schooled him on the meaning of the word and the difference between intranet & internet. Now all the people who heard her was laughing at the guy for trying to be cool and hip but he really didn't know what he was talking about. That guy was so embarrassed and just walked out.

A sexy but yet very educated woman is a dangerous prey.

Oh yeah, I know it's a real word. I was just using it in what was supposed to be an ironic manner. I knew before I posted it that I would swing and miss.

I don't generally stare at gifs, but I admit that one was quite mesmerizing. Good post indeed.

Some favorite obscure/under appreciated guys for me are:

baseball: Okay this guy wasn't very good but I just loved his name and he had a look to him that i've never forgotten; Jacob Brumfield. A more successful player and definitely forgotten today that I liked was Rance Mulliniks. I always used to think he vaguely resembled an uncle of mine

Basketball: Jerome "Junk Yard Dog" Williams, man that guy had a ton of energy. He was and still is a fan favorite even in retirement here in Toronto. Toronto is one of those sports cities that really over values the scrappy player and that's what JYD was for the Raptors in his playing days.

Football: I don't think he's really obscure but I always thought he was a bit underrated but I always liked watching Tim Dwight play. I guess the closest comparison would be Wes Welker before he went to New England.
He was at the Iowa State Fair this summer. I got a signed picture from him... the dude makes me feel good about myself because he's about my height.

Every time I go to the store I get more and more annoyed by every type of human on the planet. Today was apparently old folks day at the store, and they all chose to abandon their carts at the end of every aisle, directly in the middle, and walk around slower than a snail inspecting every item on every shelf. I'm extremely reserved when is comes to speaking to other people, but I actually had to speak up and say "sir" three times to get different geezers attention to move their **** out the way. Of course each one gave me a look like I'm some disrespectful punk, while mumbling [likely those exact words] under their breath. Ugh.

Also, you guys need to stop mentioning players... because that just leads me to mentioning more players and realizing that I have a gigantic list of players that are obscure that I enjoyed watching....

That reminds me, did I mention Robert "Tractor" Traylor?
