Re: Off Topic 2012
Good sports day. Woke up and had no idea Soccer was about to come on, I thought the pregame show was an international news broadcast, I was curious why it was on and realized what it really was. That transitioned into hockey, which is about to transition into football x2. So basically 11 straight hours of HD sports, rare for me and my local HD channels.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: Off Topic 2012
Going insane and then turning on NHL 12 is actually turning out to be a good idea. I really have no knowledge on hockey, this is my first hockey game. I'm slowly getting better, after this period though, I should be 3-10 with Nashville, which is terrible, but I'm actually calmer now after these first two periods than I was a few seconds ago even though I'm losing 4-1 right now to San Jose.
I'm using some sliders from here, which was probably setting myself up to have a bad season at first since I know nothing about the game really, but I'm still enjoying it. Does anyone have any tips though? The last 2 games and these 2 periods have me outscored 14-1, lol. The two games before that I won 1-0 in both games, but pretty much the rest of my games have me losing like -1, 2-7, 0-. I'm just giving up a lot of goals, but I feel like it's not exactly bad defense, but instead terrible offense which is putting a ton of pressure on my defense.
A big problem for me of offense is I can never attack up the middle, I'm always taking shots from the perimeter. Part of that is because I have a fear of passing in this game because I seem to turn it over a lot, and part of it is because the CPU defense seems to get set really quickly and attacking down the middle, or just passing it is extremely difficult as they flood the middle and passing lanes so darn fast.Last edited by canes21; 01-22-2012, 05:16 PM.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

And probably much less of this. ^
Just guessing, I could be wrong however.
