CPC: Common Post Counts- A measurement of posts relative to a certain period of time. Used to compare the output of two posters. Say you want to compare the activity level of Tracer (who joined in 2009) and CHooe (who joined in 2002). You would take Tracer's entire history, and compare it with CHooe's history since Tracer joined in 2009, thus determining who has been the more active poster in the 3 years that Tracer has been here.

I'm getting way too into this.

That, and a huge database to store all this data. And a few programmers to write code to scrape the entire OS forum for data, and its evaluation.

I don't know how you quantify RAGE, other than to know that Matrix is the standard-bearer for it.

OS SABERMETRICS

So far we have these...

FF: Facepalms Forced

RAGE: Really Angry, Garbage Everywhere (A measure of a poster's anger and hostility to the posts around him)

And I'll chip in one more that I just came up with,

LARP: Likes Above Replacement Poster (A measure of the amount of Likes a user gets compared to the amount a low level new person gets)

EDIT:
NUCS: New, Unique Canadian Slams (A measure of the amount of unrepeated Canadian jokes one poster makes.)

Two more proposed OS Sabremetrics:

• LK (Likes Created): measure of how often a poster is quoted in a liked post
• Lock Shares: mathematical distribution of blame for closing of a thread to carded posters in said locked thread

And a couple more sabermetrics

TPC = True Post Count: A posters projected post count if all posts responded to within a multiiquoted response were recorded as separate posts

APC = Absolute Post Count: The sum TPC + blog entries + News/Blog comments

Chooemetrics aren't the end-all of stats! Posting Average is a reliable stat no matter what you guys say!

The problem is we'll never know the true reading, because I'm sure a lot of people get angry/frustrated like I do, they just don't show it.

I have to read this a few more times to truly grasp what you are saying.

If you have Person A and Person B, and you want to compare Person B to Person A, you compare Person A's posts to Person B's posts over time frame Z and time frame X. The answer there is TZH.

Then once you've done that, you compare time frame X to time frame B, while multiplying time frame Z by time frame A, then you take TZH, and divide it by time frame X, multiple it by time frame A, then divide the whole thing by Person A's total post count. The answer here is, well, I haven't come up with what to call it yet so we'll just ABC123.

Last but not least, you take Person B's total post count and divide it by the GDP of the 55th most populated country at the time (This is an always changing number), and take that result, multiple it by ABC123, the take that answer to the TZHth power.

The final answer is the CPC of Tracer and CHooe in Chooemetrics.

If he's the standard-bearer we might as well go ahead and retire the stat, or at least recalibrate it, because there's no chance anyone could even approach his Hall-of-Fame caliber RAGE levels.
