MLB 2k10 was the last game I bought on release day.

I think I bought that (for PC) about a month after it was released. Believe that's the one that was lowered to $2.99 at one point.

NBA 2K11, the first and last time I'll ever do that again.

Edit: That was midnight release, I usually buy most sports games on release day.

Yeah, I meant release day period, whether at midnight or later in the day. Guessing for most people here that'll be whatever big game was release recently, but it's been a long time for me.

How long has it been since you bought a game on release day? I was just thinking about it thanks to The Show, and I believe the last game I bought on release day was MVP 2005. Crazy that it's been that long.

My wife ended up getting us SSX on release earlier this week. Before that it was Batman AA for me.

Didn't take long, but somewhere between half to 3/4 of the building now knows my roommate as the first person to drop their keys down the building elevator shaft.
