So,

One of my best friends of 10 years was sat down by his girl and she said she wanted a real commitment from him, because they had been together for 4 years and she was ready for the next step. It was pretty much a "either man up or i'm leaving" discussion. So, dude saves up close to $1000 and buys an engagement ring and proposes. She turns him down and says she's not ready for that a big commitment. He does absolutely everything she wants. Hell, I even helped him clear off two acres of land that had been overgrown for years and help her mother re plumb her entire house...

Now the guy is confused as hell and their relationship is pretty much done. This is exactly why I hate some females.. they don't know what the hell they want. I feel bad for the guy.

Girl update:

Don't have her number yet. I talked to my best friend (one that knows her) about it and she's told me "it's not worth a shot, she doesn't go for guys like you"...which is kind of weird because yesterday she was all for it. I don't know what her deal is and it looks like I'm alone on this one.

Just played the longest game of my life. I'm playing Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball for SNES. I just hit a 2 run homer with Joe Carter to win 3-1 in 22 innings at Fenway Park. I thought it would never end.
